The only think we know is that Twilight will not outlive her friends in season 4, there is no info she is not immortal, and I do not like the idea of Twilight being inferior to Celestia and Luna.
Anyway what is wrong with Twilight living as long as Celestia and Luna, sure, she will outlive her friends ( if they wont become Alicorns as well ), but it is not end of the world, after all is not it important to keep those dear to you who died in your memory and yet push forward, Twilight will just need to find new friends while she treasure memories of those who left her.

He didn't blow them away. The see it need it spell was cancelled and Big Mac ran off with the doll. Your a shadow wizard. You could jump out of a shadow in Big macs room, grab the doll and jump back through. It would be worth trying if just to see her smile and that is worth something to ya right?

The voice in my head agrees with you. But something in me, says it's wrong to use the shadow magic to take what is not yours. Moreover, knowing Twi as i know, she would be angry with me, give me a sermon, would me return the doll to Bigmac, i would hear a sermon from him (believe me, that would be worse than the Twi's sermon) and finally she would oblige me to write a letter to Princess Celestia about "how i learned that it is wrong to take what is not yours". Oh my! Thinking about the whole scene gives me creeps!

Well it Twi cast a spell on it and after the fight died down Big Mac took it so it wasn't his to have in the first place but I can see what your talking about. Luckily for you I have a plan B. This will keep Big Mac happy, Save you from a sermon form Twi, make Twi happy, show you care and you won't have to write a letter to Celestia. It's simple really and all it need sis one spell and for you this spell will be uber easy. Now it's the same as before, use a shadow to transport yourself to Big Macs room but when you get there, use a copy spell on Miss Smartypants. Now if I know my magic this makes an exact permenant replica of what was copied. Take that copy with you back through the shadow gateway to your home and then present that doll to Twi. I think her brother shining armour made her that doll. Anyways, present her with the doll and explain how you believe it might so much to her and you wanted to see her happy. Sure she might be a tad annoyed you used magic for that but bat the end of the day her happiness is whats important right? And it might make up for the gaffe of asking her to make foals with you. This is a golden oppertunity my friend. Take it.

Servant copy? Hmm, best test it out on a stone or something like that to make sure it is the copy spell you need. That seems to be a book on shadow magic that Twi gave you. There must be ones for normal magic. But it's just a common copy spell the description reads it makes a like for like item. Thats the one you want. The copy spell for inanimate objects. Don't want Twi's doll coming to life cause if she gets mad then it'll be me walking around with hay knows what done to me. So make sure that you use the right spell.

You are right! I think I'll test it on a drawing,that I did of Twilight dressed like a maid (don't judge me wrong, it's just a cute and innocent draw! :3 ). I always wanted to have a backup of it. What can go wrong?

Well even so. I believe that spell is just called Copy. It's not a shadow spell I think. It's just a basic spell. Trust me on this my friend, copying the doll as it is and returning it to twilight will be the best course of action. I'm trying to help you not cause trouble. Just ask Twi for a basic book of normal spells, not shadow spells. Trust me, it would be better in the long run and it won't cause you any flank ache.

Too late! Now I have a solid shadow in the form of Twilight dressed maid in my house! What's worse is that the copy obeys me, does everything I tell her to do, venerate me and calls me "ponyman-sama" (with a sweeet and loving voice)! What am I gonna do?

Well the best thing to do would be to read that book and find a cancel spell. There should be one in there. And then find the basic copy spell. Once you dispell that shadow copy we'll move onto the next part. Trust me. The real deal is worth it. Trust me here and ignore that voice. Work on getting the dispell spell from that book you have and then get the basic copy spell for objects.

Has a good spell in this book! It is a simplified version of "Way of Shadows". I just say: "shadow way!" and jump into any shadow, appearing instantaneously in another shade available!
