FULL VIEW PLZ KTHXThis isn't my fault.
In one of my other pictures, I responded to a commenter that hands and feet are particularly difficult to draw (because they are), and that person responded jokingly that maybe we should all just chop off our artwork's arms and legs with an ax. While I didn't go quite that far, this is what resulted from that.
Of course, the irony in this picture is that I had to draw my own hands realistically and reasonably well. That made it kind of fun, since I haven't drawn realism in a long time... the last time was when I took a basic drawing class in college several years ago. Sadly, some of the contrast was lost during the scan.

No way! How dare you to call your own beautiful picture silly! If I have faved it than for a reason. It is funny and transport a worldly wisdom, it is true and I LOVE YOUR HAND DRAWING!
Everywhere one could notice, that artists are trying to avoid drawing hands and feets, ( I noticed it because I was trying to copy some to learn drawing them through it) They do not even try to put themselves in the position of their characters, so one must support your picture

I think drawing hands as hands is not so difficult, but if you add a body
there a so many things which you must consider oรด and that's the real difficulty for me

For me, it's actually easier to draw a full body - I don't have to worry so much about all the little details that go into close-ups of hands, like knuckles, nails, veins, hair etc. It usually does not end well. D:

Haha, it's been over three years since I drew this and I STILL have problems with hands and feet. I hope I've gotten a bit better, though... o_o;

My friend and I were having a conversation about how hard arms and legs are to draw...crazy coincidence. This made me laugh so hard since I always draw from the shoulder up

Ah, the strategically cropped picture! That's always an alternative to drawing hands and feet, and probably kinder than chopping off their arms and legs like I did.

I know this feeling. Hands and feets are really hard to draw. Sometimes I hate drawing them. When it's really bad I go beserk, and draw lines all over the drawing while yelling ARGH! SCREW YOU HAND! DX (And that's pretty stupid when the rest of the drawing was okey... -_-' )

Haha, I do that too. The rest of the picture will look passable, but something will always be wrong with the hand (or the feet... stupid toes are hard to draw!).

You're really doing them a FAVOR by chopping off their arms and legs... they can park in the handicapped spaces. They'd be grateful once they realize how much you've done for them.
