I wasn't posting as I am not finishing enough drawings to my liking, but this has apparently gotten out of hand. a bit ago, i sifted through 6 art books and scanned 150+ drawings that are mostly drafts in my eyes, but might make someone else pleased. enjoy!

these are doodles based on some mechanisms that pop up in The Voynich Manuscript. based on my perusing of "Alchemy & Mysticism", I feel like they have to be contraptions used for the transformation of matter, probably for pharmaceutical applications considering other peoples' studies of the Manuscript. There's also a lot of plants in that book, and weird maps that are reminiscent of the fortresses that alchemists would use to depict the transfiguration of material into the lapis. sweet.
