Description Lord Ramos, ex-captain of the Iron Warriors 7th Company. After his escape from the treacherous plot that took place on Luna, Ramos confined himself to his chambers aboard the Herald of Steel and went into a rage, venting his anger upon anything to hand. When he emerged days later, he carried a mighty hammer with which he pledged to strike down the Iron Warriors who betrayed him.


So that's my Chaos Lord done

I really can't wait to see this model at the head of my Sons of Steel, leading the charge and battering aside foes.

For those of you interested in how the hammer will work in a game of 40k, here are the rules:

Hammer of Ramos - The Hammer grants +1 Strength when wielded single-handed. When wielded double-handed it counts as a power fist (Strength 8 - Initiative 1)

This model really did take a bit longer than I would have liked but now that it's done I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Particularly like the pose you've managed...may look at it myself for a third go at the kit...for some reason,i wanna do another one lol

Im not sure what i wanna do for another one...im just being open to ideas and inspirations...and when i hit an idea...i'll go buy another kit

Pretty much lol I filed down the backs a little,so they sat more snugly,and then sculpted the chain either side of the 2 end ones.

Thanks for the Fave aswell.

The base is actually from the 40k Basing Kit (sssshh, tell no-one) heh. It would have been cool to Green Stuff the base and actually make it myself but it suits the pose so well and I'd already spent loads of time on the model. In fact the base was the first thing I decided on, heh.

It's mostly just the Chaos Terminator Lord. The head is an Iron Warriors head (from the Iron Warriors conversion pack) and the Hammer is just the Sorcerers staff with a large Green Stuff lump sculpted around the end along with a couple of extra bits from the Chaos Marine Sprue, heh.

Not much conversion now that I really think about it, heh. The head of the Hammer took the longest though, I think there's about three stages of Green Stuff in it.

That's all there is to it really, just some basic stuff to be honest, heh.

Yeah it's Green Stuff that's been sculpted, left to set, then carved into a more defined shape.

You can certainly have a go, just don't go around telling people that you designed the hammer, heh.

All my stuff is under Creative Commons but it's good to ask permission first

It'll be ages yeah though, I've got a massive back log of model at the moment
