Over a black base it is Machrite Red, highlighted by Blood Red and lastly Blazing Orange.

My main problem is right now I have no room for a light box or anything like that. And seeing as I'm not posting these on ebay, I really don't have a need for overly professional pictures.

Neither do I. I use a piece of cardboard which is rolled up and tucked behind a cupboard when not used, my painting lamp for lighting and a hand camera. Still I found that to be an improvement over the first photos I did (not posted), and I feel a bit more satisfied if I complement a decent paintjob with a decent photo.

Well I'm using a camera that belongs to my mom an I'm not terribly familiar with it yet. But I'm still getting the hang of it.

We'll see, I hope to get a job soon so that (among other things) be able to replace my camera.

Constructive approach!
I warn you however, from personal experience, that such things tend to afford more resources for acquiring new toys, yet dramatically reduce the amount of time you are able to spend playing with them That being said - go for it!

I know, I've had jobs in the past. It's just I'm pretty fed up with being constantly broke with nothing to do all the time.
