Description
This is painted from a trip to Springbrook, a beautiful forested escarpment in the Gold Coast hinterland in SE Queensland.There are walks among the tall trees along the top of the cliffs which give a wonderful sense of scale and distance. This is what I was trying to convey.

Wow! This makes me want to grab a vine and swing until I can't swing anymore! Fantastic sense of depth in this epic environment with amazing details and lighting! I bet the monkeys are thrilled to hang out here! hehe! Superb art!

I do a lot of painting on site, but in this case time and conditions (wind)didn't allow, so I used photo ref and some imagination!
