I used a Carl Zeiss objective as a VERY LOOSE reference (mainly because I'm too lazy to make it accurate).

Well someday I wanna get a DSLR (Nikon D5100) for filming purposes and a kit I found includes an additional Nikkor lens. So yeah... XD

Are the oils in his fur gentle? Cause they will smudge that lens something fierce.

I'm pretty sure he has one of those special cloths to clean it with. (Though I agree, getting smudges on the lens is slightly counter-productive).
