I love this depiction of Chrysalis. I think part of her motivation to find food for the Changelings is so that she wouldn't have to see the Changeling foals die of starvation at an early age. The young Changelings are what keeps Chrysalis in a better mood.

her motivations are justified but her actions are not, should she have been smart and maid peace with the ponies of Equestrea her people would have been saved, instead she chooses a strategy than not only 'miner' satisfies her subjects but fully satisfies her ego and pride, like ever other changeling fic ever, they learn that if you want the love of others "you only had to ask"
as for Discord, he's not nuts, he's absolutely insane, the only differences is he learned the era of his ways and became a good guy mostly'
don't dismiss the facts when there staked agents you, I may like Queen Chrysalis as a character, but she's still a villain until HASBRO proves otherwise

Originally, Anon requested suggestive cuddles between Chrysalis and a few changelings, but we were able to negotiate a more of a mother and puppies scenario, which I was more comfortable drawing.
