CompositionChallenge - 09. Scribble---
Thoughts on the prompt:
I really liked this prompt, even though it was a little challenging. I had my brother draw out a few scribbles and I chose one to draw a composition from.

After doing this I realized that some of my compositions (especially for backgrounds) really do start out as scribbles because it helps me be less indecisive or something

I haven't drawn Foren in a while! He always reminds me of winter/snow because he's a Mountain Elf. I wanted to draw a snowy scene again, and the scribble immediately made me think of a bow, so it was perfect.

Oooh, how cool is THAT - it is awesome that you and your brother worked together finding the composition! It is such a rad concept to cooperate while working on a drawing/ painting.
Honestly, it is inspiring to hear that you start out your compositions for backgrounds as scribbles. Because whenever I start a painting, I most often do the background at the very end - because I can't figure out how I'd like the background to be -- so it is cool to see that you do it differently and much more effectively!!
Also: Your usage of textures and colours is incredible as always - but that background!! It is very impressive how stylised and simple the background might appear, yet, at the same time, it perfectly fits and, moreover, compliments the detailed foreground. They work so well together!!

Oh no, I do draw the figure at the beginning and the background second xD It's just that when I draw the background i don't know what to do, so I draw scribbles behind the person hahaha

It really is so crisp, like I can feel the frigid winter air! BAH I already blab about it irl to you, but e v e n s o .
I like how you did the fade with the arrow next to face because it really works. Now I know how to not make archery poses tangent like mad. I also like the little bit of snow that is dashing up from the bottom because of the movement. And for the billionth time, his gesture is gorgeous. I guess I should thank the scribble for that, but I still would probably found a way to make the scribble static.
