Happy Birthday to HareSoup !This is Tadema, her marine biologist, daydreaming and getting glared at by Ridian, my thresher merman.
Ridian dislikes strangers who might intrude on his village, and Tadema loves everything marine. I think the two will get along nicely.

I can't tell you how much I love this! ;u; This was such a good surprise. Thank you so much! I really did not expect this, but the idea and the characters are all perfect! ;v;;; I feel like I have to repay you even though it's a birthday gift! I'm literally tearing up (again). Tadema's pose matches him so well! He would definitely daydream. Although, being so close to the water, he might finish dreaming a little earlier and hop in. (And have a pleasant/not so pleasant surprise! No, who'm I kidding, it's Ridian. It will be pleasant even if he leaves with broken bones). I love the texture of the wood and the details on Ridian's skin armor.

I don't know why I suddenly came up with this idea, but I really wanted to draw it out.
I feel so sorry for Tadema. There has to be ONE marine thing that doesn't hate him! I want to draw more of Tadema and Ridian (and Tadema's friend), and they haven't even been RP'd yet, haha
