Description These are some concept pages for an idea I've been playing with lately - interaction between homo sapiens and homo floresiensis. We inhabited the same section of the world for some 30,000 plus years, so I don't think it'd be so ridiculous to play with what could have happened between us and our tiny, primitive relatives.

OMG. I would absolutely love to see your take on sapiens-floresiensis interaction. I just love the idea of ancient flores fiction. The only story I've ever found so far is a short vignette in a book called The Last Human: a guide to 22 species of extinct humans. I beseech you to continue.

From what I can tell from the legends of the Ebu Gogo, human + H. floresiensis interaction wasn't terribly friendly.

Yeah, I was reading up on the Ebu gogo for this. The story would involve, in all likelihood, some baby-stealing and revenge killings.

(I particularly like how some of the stories involve children tricking their way free from the Ebo Gogo - it fits, with the tiny brain on h. floresiensis. I also like how the reason kids get kidnapped is so the Gogo can learn the magic of... cooking.)
