ERMAGERRRD.SPURDHURMERRNNNN.
Ugh. This killed me. Where do I even begin?
Male anatomy was hard.
Big-ass bridge background was hard.
Sunset lighting was hard.
Two people close together was hard.
Andrew Garfield's face/hair was hard.
That background, fuck. It destroyed me. However, in the process of drawing it I came to the conclusion that Google Sketchup is my best friend xD I owe the whole bridge to Sketchup. Took a leaf out of 's book thanks to her tips on using 3D models.
This was out of my favourite part of the film, the part where Spidey rescues the kid off the bridge. I don't remember there being a scene of Spidey as he's climbing back up to the bridge to return the kid to his dad - it seemed to jump straight from Spidey catching the kid to Spidey handing the kid back.
So I decided to draw that in-between bit, the bit they didn't show. Which left me with one hell of a challenge since I couldn't use any ref pics from the film xD
I'm fairly pleased with my attempt though. It turned out better than I thought it would. That said, my expectations were pretty damn low since I knew this would be a hell of a challenge.
But, y'know, I had to draw it. Andrew Garfield in Spidey spandex. How could I not??
There's still no doubt so many things wrong with this, so I'd appreciate whatever feedback/criticism you can give. Just tell me if you think something looks off. Criticism very much appreciated. Don't hold back, I won't bite xD
And yeah. I part love this, part hate this. I have absolutely no idea what to make of it xD
Enjoy!
