Well, lately I have been trying to stir up some emotional feed back from my fellow deviants in an attempt to commemorate one of our fallen comrade’s !Blue-Leader . In case you missed anything here is the journal link [link] and poll [link] to clear things up. So far, not so good! I got one entry in the flippin contest, and I’m on the verge of just giving up.So on that note my cherry on the top of this thing is my belated side of the art-trade we had going. Its of his female alter-ego Blue-Leader…or at least I think that’s what she’s supposed to be. Hell I don’t know much of the character but I decided to add my own little spice to her.
The sailor suit came out of nowhere and I wanted to give her this squeaky, shiny, sort of look like a rubber ball. The style is definitely pin-up influenced and the expression was one of my favorite things about this piece.

Bit harsh dude, clearly BlueLeader and Powerman were good friends, so regardless of what bad blood existed between you and leader he couldn't have been all bad if Powerman liked him.

There was no bad blood between me and Blue Leader, the guy was simply a cretin who begged a lot from many people who happen to be my friends and didn't know what the word "no" meant. My fingers are crossed for Soylent Orange's dad to take away his laptop... though, I doubt we will be imbued with such good fortune.

The drawing is very well done...unfortunately, it is far beyond anything Blue-Leader deserved.
On the surface, Blue-Leader appeared to be a dedicated member of the community. As anyone who has had extensive dealings with the guy, however, a very different picture is painted (though, still in an overused hourglass shape). He constantly harassed artists for requests and those who did not comply were whined at relentlessly. He also obtained art trades from artists far, far better than he ever was and never made any attempts at improving his skills. In addition, there are several instances of Blue-Leader utilizing other artist's original characters without permission, and throwing obnoxious tantrums when confronted about such behavior.
I cannot begin to fathom why anybody would want to honor Blue-Leader. While it is a pity that our community has lost a member, ultimately we will be better off without him.

Well, let me say this. I would honor his request at this given point as I would with any of my friends because of one simple reason: none of my friends have given me any reason not to. While I respect what you guys are saying about this fellow, I have to go with what little he has done to me. Perhaps I'm doing something that might put me at risk, but I still believe that sticking to my guns on this one point will be something that best defines me.
