Description
Overview: Combaticons are the tactical black ops unit of fierce and strong mighty Decepticon Warriors, who handled and works in most of dangerous and difficult missions, and even battle against the dangerous enemies. The team consisted of perfectionist and tactical genius Onslaught, sadistic yet calm Vortex, a cocky and egotistical Blast Off, violent and angry Brawl and an opportunist con-artist Swindle.

Details: Brawl is the first Combaticon I've seen in Transformers (2007 Film), and he became one of my favorite Decepticons for being one-man Decepticon Warrior to withstand and fight off the Autobots before he was defeated and killed by Bumblebee and Captain Lennox's team.

Years later, I came to learn more of who Brawl is and where he came from. I discovered he was the member of dangerous mercenary units Combaticons when I watched the video game of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and even witnessed their Combiner Form - Bruticus. He was very badass for tearing the Energon Transport. They became my favorites. It is pity that his story was never explored of what really happen to him after he got thrown off to Cybertron. Unlike mine, the team remained with the Nemesis until they reached to Earth. They're still very alive during Transformers Prime and Ben 10 True Omniverse in Season 4.

I don't like G1 designs because they look too much of similar to each other. So, I based all five designs on not just Transformers Movieverse and Fall of Cybertron, but also fanmade designs including GUILLERMOTFMASTER 's. It's very challenging but also fun to draw and color them I have to say they're very badass militant characters I ever design.

Voice Actor: David Oyelowo

Personality: A very strict, stern and perfectionist commanding officer of Combaticons, who has brilliant tactical and cunning mind to devise strategies and execute the operation precisely as he planned. Though he is calm and patient as long as he can, he has bad temper if the operation goes wrong or someone dared to tested him. He also has zero tolerance of failures and insubordination in his team. Though he wanted the operation go smoothly and perfectly, he remained alert and weary of it as he knew and prepared for operation possibly gone wrong. If it does, he would be adaptable and resourceful to salvage and continue his mission until he succeeded it.

Other than flying in high speed; he enjoyed terrorizing, interrogating and torturing his enemies for gathering the information for his own team and began the operation as well. He also enjoyed the air strikes and bombardment on his enemies for both amusement and entertainment. He often paired up with Blast-Off for both air recon and air strikes. He disliked being outsmarted and beaten by the opposition as it driven him mad and annoyed to lose his concentration from true mission.

Despite his ego, he is the most reliable and swiftest air supporter that Combaticons ever have during the battles. Blast Off enjoyed flying very fast across the landscape. He partnered with Vortex for air strikes and air bombardment. He can be a little impatient and frustration if everything moved and goes too slowly for him, it will drive him mad. He enjoyed shooting and blowing up his enemies' heads a lot.

Not the smartest among the Combaticons, he made it up by fueling up his rage and prowess to charge and fight off the enemies, even if it means he has to do it alone. He really hates smart Cybertronians and being made fun as he would lose his cool and knock his opponent upside down. If he lose too much of patience and cool, Brawl would unleash his rage and gone wild and violent as he will bring down his opponent.

Though he's sly, cunning and crafty businessman; he's not the smartest and always gets into trouble with clients for cheating and tricking them, which forced him to rely on his team to save him. Despite his greedy and opportunist attitude, he's always made sure he gets his job done.
