Description
Overview: Contagion is a stalwart Decepticon Officer, who is responsible for recommending Switchblade to Megatron and become part of the Decepticons, serving as a strict and stoic Chief Mate to the Decepticon Warship Leviathan, as well as both advisor and friend to him.

Details: Like Switchblade, Contagion only made his first appearance in Transformers Universe before it got cancelled. He only made a brief appearance as one of Decepticon Generals attending in meeting chamber. I decide to made some changes in Contagion because his appearance interest me to look at him in different light.

Rather than a venomous Decepticon armed with toxic weapons, I made him as a stoic and stalwart officer, who is very strict with rules and regulation especially when it comes to commanding the army and managing the warship. The design is completely based on his Universe Counterpart but some parts need to change for better such as the helmet, armor, trident and shield are based on Cao Ren (DW)'s designs. His personality is based on some of stoic and no-nonsense commanding officers from fictional stories such as Cao Ren (Dynasty Warriors), Sammo Hung, Stoick the Vast (How to Train Your Dragon Franchise), Jean Razak (Starship Troopers) and Colonel Trumann (Power Rangers RPM). You could say that he's Decepticon Version of Ultra Magnus.

I was unable to identify the original voice actor of Universe Counterpart, so I chose Beau Billingslea because he has the voice of stoic, stern and no-nonsense personality of commanding officers such as Cao Ren from Dynasty Warriors.

Voice Actor: Beau Billingslea

Personality: A stoic and stalwart commanding officer with no-nonsense attitude, who has always put his duty and mission first, regardless the situation he and his team have faced. He is very strict and stern with disciplining and training his soldiers, but he will berate them harshly if any of them slack off or come in unprepared. Although he has committed to the Decepticon Cause since the gladiatorial days, he doesn't believe himself to be good enough to earn his promotion (which most of Decepticons, Switchblade and even Megatron believed he should be promoted). While he lacks of speed, flexibility and adaptability; he makes up with strong determination and endurance to lead his men to hold and fend off the enemy assault. While Switchblade is known as The Sword of Decepticons, Contagion is nicknamed as the Shield of Decepticons for his impenetrable shield and defense formation. Not only he's the Warship's Chief Mate/Vice Captain, he also served as advisor to Switchblade, whom he seen him as best friend and brother-in-arms. He provides wisdom and supports that Switchblade needs whenever he's in dilemma.

Magnetic Barrier: Contagion possessed an immense amount of energy to create a powerful barrier of magnetism that helps halted and blocked the attacks, as well as deflecting and repelling them back at the attackers. It also helps amplify and power up his shield to withstand most powerful and devastating attacks.

Equipment:
a) Spiked Shield: Contagion's Primary Weapon for shielding himself from the attacks, as well as repelling and pushing back the attacks. He can detached his Double-Bladed Sword from his shield to fight the enemies at close combat.

b) Poseidon's Storm Trident: Contagion's secondary weapon that served as another weapon to fight and fend off the enemies. Combining together with his Magnetic Powers, he can block and repel the blasts off, and even charge and ram them off.

c) Vigil Vapor Gun: Contagion's Third Weapon, which he rarely use as he deemed to be dangerous and devastating as last resort. This gun, combined together with his Magnetic Power, allows him to trap at his enemies with magnetized metals and weapons before building up its energy together to create nuclear and blow them up.
