What if... their roles were reversed?
I felt like painting more stuff, and this has crossed my mind a few times as an interesting what if scenario. So I figured I should go for it!
Also, as for the mermaid's actual name, I tend to just call her May. So it's May and Sherry. I realized I can't refer to her as just 'the mermaid' in this picture, so I might as well bring this up xD
Though, I can't see a reason they would ever meet if Sherry was the mermaid. May would have no reason to dive in and even swim that far off shore, and sherry wouldn't find a reason to approach her...
Now, what if they were BOTH mermaids?
Hm, might just toss that out as a poll and see if people want me to draw that next
