Though, one is finding it more wondrous than the other
I got inspired to do a sketchy painterly thing, and then got inspired to work with these two.
I tried some different shading methods and it is pretty effective, actually. It took me about an hour and a half for lineart, and about 2 for the coloring, so, I am pretty happy with the efficiency, considering
It has been a while since I colored either of them, so it's also a nice refresher for those that forgot or never knew
This scene doesn't quite firmly fit anywhere in the story, but I guess it probably happened somewhere during the trip to the sunken ship. So I will squeeze it into the timeline there.

Dye? Don't be silly. In anime art, hair is naturally randomly colored xD
But if you want to think of a rational way, it may be due to algae and them seeping into her hair to the point her hair just looks green from all the exposure. Or, it could be a default hair color for mermaids, so they can camouflage amongst the sea weed while still keeping an eye on their surroundings, or something.
