Alright, my comments on the piece.

So I originally made this texture about a week ago, and for the past week I have been planning on how to destroy the planet that it would be made from

I originally chose giant crazy asteroid, and then I switched to some sort of godlike lightning bolt and stuff...

And then I figured that it was all too epic. So I settled on this... it's still catastrophic and epic nonetheless, but it's on a much smaller, much more realistic scale. Anyways, I like it because it's a decent balance between the epic god scale and something that hits much closer to home.

I would have made this a print, but it never really entered that stage. It started out as a 2300x3300 print size, the got cropped down to half that size, then I eventually settled on a vert 1200x1600 size, not really big enough for prints... still large enough for a decent wallpaper though.

So enjoy the nuking of a nice little planet.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank *Baro for the inspiration, I think automatically you will know where I got the idea for the nukes from . I tried to make it original, still.
