(2008) ObsessionAnother macabre love themed piece.
The outline art and basic hatches have been done straight in pen, without previous pencil sketch.
The marker pen like colors are simulated, all colors have been added digitally.
0.5 tech pen + PSCS2.

May I please keep this in my favorites? This piece is so inspirational! I love the overpowering sense of lust. Her expression is priceless, I see it as a combination of pain and longing. The colors, are, of course, beautifully contrasted. I feel full of art when I see it, ready to create. The only thing that I don't like is that her nose looks like it is at a different angle than her face. Other than that, beautiful.

If it inspired you in someway, I think it filled its purpose, but I hope it not inspire you to fall in love with a green guy with sadistic red eyes (I don't think it would be very healthy).
About the nose, yes you're almost right. But the issue in this case, are in the hair and the head angle that are not really where I intented. I didn't fix it with a excuse that "it came out that way so leave it", but as I adjusted some other minor details, you can take it as my laziness winning again 
If it makes any difference, this piece came out when I was watching "Trouble Every Day" (Claire Denis), a kind of movie that would NOT be recommend to everyone.

Oh, yes, I can see that as well. I think she's really pretty. What were you thinking of when you drew this? Feelings, wants, hates? She kind of looks like my mom... It's okay! I get lazy a lot, too, but not when I do traditional work. I just can't! But that's good, right?

Not sure. I think I intented to portray a dangerous love obsession, or something like that.
BTW, the movie in question is about obsession, love and... blood. So, its not really for the general audience, and I don't think it was a good movie anyway. You can check its details in IMDB [link]
