Description
(2008) Yet another surreal piece. No deep meaning in this piece, just started drawing the middle girl and a bunch of floating objects around. Well there is a melting clock there, so we can say it has some Dali inspiration.
Anyway, this is a straight to pen piece, meaning that no pencil sketch or further planning was done before art finishing it.
The colors have been added digitally ("paint bucket painting" is pretty fun), so are the paper texture and the "extrusion effect".
0.5 tech pen + PSCS2.
PS.: Added a "mature warning" because the minor nudity...

He he this is cool! Pretty random and very colorful (I dig that ). It's chaotic but the color-scheme is consistent and the line art rocks! The texture you added is what bothers me, I think it's unnecessary. Removing it maybe would make it too flat, but that's up to you... Otherwise, awesome! Kinda like stuff that I do, but I think it's interesting enough to earn a

I dig how layered it is (stuff on top of stuff on top of other stuff) which adds a good sense of depth to it. I also like the different styles of people - fairly realistic woman; stick figure guy running; heart alien and green guy.
I keep seeing the small faces as bubbles since its a blue background for most of the pic. Like a bunch of stuff swept up in a rush of water with the viewer caught inside. Now if I could only swim back up to the surface without getting snagged by any of the debri...

I'm sorry, I faved, please don't be upset! I removed it.
Anyways, I really like this piece because it almost reminds me of my style. I love the colors and contrast, it makes me feel like I am the center yellow character, and I am floating in space. The gradiation in the background really gives a sense of activity and wonder. Beautiful!

Lol, I guess you get intimidated by my journal post (or something I wrote somewhere else)...
Well, its not that I don't like the fave thing, I think it is nice that someone liked something I did, however as an experimental artist, I do believe comments are really more construtive. (Also, there are a lot of people that has some "compulsive faving obsession" that needs to be controlled...)
Anyway, I really glad you liked this piece.
To tell a secret, this piece has started as a "still snapshot of a car crash", that is why there are a lot of car pieces flying around. But decided to keep this info hidden to allow the viewers free imagination, I thought it could be more enjoyable in this way .

Yes...:d
That's how I feel! I guess I just don't know you really well...
I think what's even worse is people who just comment as "cute" or "good".
Me too!!
Maybe you should do a still car crash then, I mean, I can see it here, but I would like to see what else you could come up with from cars.

Well, the "car crash" was just my initial idea, but it is not really important in the finished piece.
The great thing about surrealism is that it doesn't need to make sense everytime.

I really like this picture ;D
It shows all the clutter we tend to hide in our lives. I like how you've made every seemingly daily object something unique. Amazing job with the textures too, it makes it stand out more! I always seem to fail when I try texturing
Wonderful!
