it took a long time, but I like it. I took a pic of myself, added a new layer over it in photoshop, and then selected colors of my skin, clothes (or metals) and painted on top of the picture until there was no original picture of myself visible. I used a wacom tablet to paint. Thanks!

definitely! i always used a mouse until i was forced to get one by a teacher, and i love it! I have a wacom intuos 3, which is a little more expensive then some, but is nicer because it has more sensitivity levels than cheaper ones, plus comes with a mouse for browsing online and such. I recommend one!
