Foam sniper rifle WIP. I set aside Vash's gun for the time being, because Deathcon is coming up in a couple weeks, and I wanted to get this gun ready to showcase over there. Below the gun you can see the materials used to create the gun: EVA foam floor mats, 6mm, and 2mm craft EVA foam. The hinge is made from two 1/2" pieces of 2" dowel, and one, 1" piece, with a 3/8" dowel for the pin. Enjoy!Related content

Wow, this is looking really cool. I'm always impressed with the detail people can get out of foam like this.
Did you use anything to support the inside? Or is it kind of floppy?
And what is the glue you used if you don't mind me asking? Especially for the dowel parts to the foam?

Thanks! Nope, I didnt need to add a core, the whole thing is foam with the exception of the dowel I used for the hinge, which is scored, and hot glued into place. Once the foam is glued together, its quite rigid, and only flexes if you try to make it flex. The glue we use is called "Barge Cement", which is alot like rubber cement, whereas, you apply it to both surfaces that you want to glue together, let it dry for 5 minutes, and then stick it together, where it bonds forever
