Description A WIP of Zygophyseter, an ancient toothed whale from the Late Miocene (11.6-7.2mya). It was a member of the Physeteroidea, and as such its closest modern relatives are sperm whales despite its very dolphin-like appearance. I had a lot of fun doing this, and this is my first time reconstructing a cetacean (arguably my favorite group of mammals). The outline is super simple, so I'm worried it'll be difficult once I get to the bane of my existence, light/shadow.

It makes sense though, there are so many shapes and sized of creatures and the water really gives it space to evolve.
