There's something about oversized invertebrae attacking humans that is incredibly entertaining.

Very realistic for setting and you can sort of tell that the bug is protecting its home rather than attacking for no reason.

This is great work. It's got an awesome, threatening feel to it. Good job! Even more so that you seem to have used.. a crayfish? or another normally small creature to become the Swamp Creature

This is a truly unique sci-fi pic, which is difficult to accomplish with all the millions of artists drawing nearly every monster ever created in every possible environment. On top of the imaginative subject matter, you've got some solid composition. I love the way the dark trees close off the edges, drawing the viewer's eye through the shadows into the center of the conflict. On top of that, I find everything in the conflict somehow leads the focus to the monster's face, where I know I'd be focusing on if I were in that situation. Possibly your best piece.
