Description
Spherical structure on upper left page is grenadecyst. This is parasite of big cephalothoraxids. Quite nasty parasite, as when it grows to about 10 cm. diameter it simply explodes. Any shrapnel, which manages to drive into or glue itself to skin of cephalothoraxid would germinate to another grenadecyst. Surprisingly, however explosion causes big wounds on its host, it is rarely terminal. Skeleton of Coatlique vertebrate equivalent (the platids) is composed of broad bone plates, which screen internal organs.

Below there is some forest spider-like creature, distantly related to Velorans. Some of spider like creatures from Coatlicue turned skeleton on their limbs into very many vertebrate-like phalanxes, so their limbs are pliable like tentacles. This species lives in smal herds, which walko on the fores floor. If they cannot see each other they communicate by knocking into tree trunks using some solid object.

On right page there is another tentacled spider-like creature, the jungle dancer. When on the ground (where it is very unlikely to be found) it still walk like spider, but its front legs are extremely elongated so they can brachiate like Earth gibbon, jumping among the vegetation with speed of 70 km/h.
