~Fullview please~some people told us their problems with the eye expression of their dolls. so i thought i could do a little tutorial. i hope it helps a bit^^

This is sooooo true. It scares the heck outta me whenever I see the eye which is not slightly hidden under the upper eyelid. Especially with big eyes.
Anyways, I used this tutorial as a checklist to see if my doll is having his eyes in a good position!

I never knew about eyes until one of my friends told me to lift the dolls eye so either the pupil touches the bottom lid, or you can see a little white underneath their eye. It makes all the difference in the world when you look at a doll, so their not staring at your blankly. Good and simple tut. : )

I want to do this cuz my doll's eyes do this but I'm scared to death of moving/taking out her eyes cuz I'm scared I might not be able to put them back in and then she'll be eyeless and ;A;

it's easy to remove the eyes and put in again. just try it!^^

I'm just so afraid ;~; What if I don't get the eyeputty in tight enough and they fall off and and and ;A; What if I try to put the eye back in and I push too hard and I break the resin or what if my fingers touch the faceup and smudge it !?
I have so many fears with my doll!

Resin doesn't brake so fast, specially not the head! And if you don't want to smudge the face please wash your hands before! don't touch the face-up too much, i hold my heads at the ears or chin... (if the chin isn't blushed) but you don't need to push so hard. you can lay down the head on a pillow, so nothing could happen...

if you don't want to remove the eyes, you can just turn them! you don't need to remove the putty to move the eyes!

then you have a bad putty D: i use the putty from coolcat, i can recommend very much!

I've just got the puddy sent from the company/the ebay seller ;u; and then I have putty from Junkyspot but I haven't used it yet.

then please try the putty from junkyspot. we always change the company putty. it's bad, always... i'm sure the putty from junkyspot is better than the Doll-Love putty.
take a little bit from the putty, make a sausage between your hands and then put it around your eye. then put it back into the holes of the head and push the sausage to fix it. it's easy~

o____O you used tweezers for moving the eyes???? oh no >o< use your fingers!!! it's very probably you've broken something! didn't you watch youtube tutorials as i've said? T___T we searched everything in the web too... there are so much video tutorials in the web... also changing eyes btw...

;n; I tried using my fingers but a tutorial said you might cut them. I didn't push to hard with the tweezers so I don't know if I broke anytihng but I hope I didn't OMG ;A;

if you take care you would not cut yourself. we change eyes very often and we never(!) cut ourself. and if you don't know if you've broke something please TAKE A LOOK! if you don't do it you don't know and maybe you damage more then you have at the moment...

Nothing looks chipped on the eye stem. I felt around it carefully then felt around the other and both ends are kind of rough in certain places so I think it's fine.

Jepp, genau das war auch mein Gedanke, genau wie mit dem Furwig tutorial xDDD Aber stimmt, wenn einem der Blick nicht gefällt, dann probiert und dreht man so lange bis man was gefunden hat~ Aber manche Augen sind wirklich sehr unvorteilhaft, da ist es echt schwierig die Augen richtig reinzumachen ohne dass die Doll dann stiert >_> (das war zB bei unserer DZ Momo der Fall)

naja bis jetzt ging das mit allen augen die ich hatte recht gut auser die silikon augen die sind boah die schlimmsten >_> kleben wie blöd und man muss das schmierige eyeputty benutzen >_>

oh ja, die Silikonaugen~ Kasumi hatte sie uns mal gezeigt, wir selbst haben zum Glück keine eigenen... Aber ich stell's mir wirklich mist vor, vor allem da die auch so schnell schmutzig werden... ~.~

Moving/placing eyes is hard if the eyes don't have stems! >_< haha.
I wish all my eyes had stems...

yes, you're right. without a stem it's very hard to move the eyes... when we buy eyes we inform us before if they have stems... but in some tiny heads it's very compicated with stems because of the S-Hook... not much space, you know? we have some glass eyes that are broken on the stems because of this... ;___;

Yeah. Stems get the way of my Luts Delf boy, since the stems stop me from turning the lock mechanism on his neck. So I have to end up putting in the eyes AFTER I've put the head on. ¬__¬ Very annoying.

der mittlere blick ist am schönsten an ihr, Sinbi ist echt ein schöner Mold und deine ist so schön gestyled da sieht sie NOCH schöner aus!

Ich persönlich mag es am liebsten, wenn sie zur Seite schauen, aber Michi mag es auch lieber gerade aus. Ich kann den Blick auf Fotos besser einfangen, wenn sie irgendwo hinschauen und nicht einfach nur stur gerade aus. Ich finde, dadurch strahlen die Dolls viel mehr Leben aus. Anfangs hatte ich meine Sinbi auch gerade aus schauen lassen und da hatte mich etwas gestört, ihrem Blick fehlte es an Lebendigkeit. Aber jetzt, wo sie zur Seite schaut, bin ich vollkommen zufrieden *___*

Ich mag es ja so wie halt beim mittleren Blick, wenn die Pupille ans obere Lid ansetzt. Das hat so nen verwegenen Blick ala 'glaub bloß nicht das du mehr weißt als ich' x'D Jedenfalls kommt mir das bei meinen MSDS so vor das die das denken! x'D
