Saw other artists making a new Earth-born Avatar, so I thought...why the f*ck not right?

So Asura was born a day after Korra died, she was 70 at her time of passing, whom is survived by her wife for 49 years, Asami Sato (was 71 at Korra's death but now is 89 when Asura becomes 18) and their 3 children (they were part of the 'three person babies' rights I guess if possible? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-pa… )

Asura Beifong (grandson of Bolin and Opal Beifong). He is currently 18 years old. He has a younger sister called Deva Beifong (whom resembles after Toph).

He's born in the 1990's-based era of the Avatar world, so pretty much close to the modern day.

Outfit: Green trench coat with metal plates attached on most parts of it for the use of metalbending fighting. Light green t-shirt, dark green chest armour. Belt buckle with metalbending wire gear attached to each side. Metal vambraces for the use of metalbending. Outdoor rough terrain boots with metal plates and metal shin-guards. He normal has his earphones on him occasionally.
Personality: The death of Asura's parents by the act of the Red Lotus terrorist organization when he was just 9 years old implicitly states he was severely traumatized by the event and was left to fend for himself and his sister, who was 5 years old at the time. The life of an outlaw is a means of escaping the loss of his parents in attempts to get by in a world that had forsaken him and his younger sister. His phobia of drowning in water (Aquaphobia) originated from being subjected to being placed inside a large metal drum barrel of water (which he escaped when learning how to metalbend) for long periods of time by sadistic orphanage staff, which would keep him on solid ground for the better part of his life, leaving him not willing/unable to swim as well of being terrible at learning waterbending. As a result, Asura is a guarded man, hardly displaying his true feelings. Instead of confronting or showing his emotions to others, he puts on a brave and gregarious front, often laughing and quipping in the face of danger with a handy trick always available to maintain an upper hand. His tendency to over drink may also be another way Asura copes from the trauma of his past.
Asura is equally overindulgent in his desire for women. A notorious womanizer, Asura is extremely flirtatious with women and easily aroused. Though he often avoids fights against women as best as possible and would be very gentlemen like towards those he finds attractive. He fancies himself a ladies' man, although his actual success with women often ends either good or bad situations for him.
He is largely hostile towards figures of authority and feels little incentive to follow orders with which he disagrees, earning him the distinction of being a loose cannon of sorts to them. Such notable examples would the eyes of the law and the president of the Republic Nations.
Asura can become cocky, headstrong and overeager in situations that require defusing. Though he is confident in his abilities against an opponent, Asura is not afraid to admit that, if the situation were not in his or his friends favour, he would do a ‘tactical retreat’. Though often revered as a ‘partial moral relativist’ if the fight was deadly serious, Asura would kill those who threatened him or his friends as a last possible resort.
He has a reputation for being foul-mouthed and is an incurably sarcastic cynic, only too happy to bluntly and harshly relieve others of their comfortable delusions regarding their own self-importance or their point of view on life. Asura has also displayed a propensity towards impatience and an inability to sit still for long, which perhaps contributes to his love of travel.
Asura's relationship with his younger sister is easily the strongest and most significant of his personal connections. Though the siblings have wildly different personalities and argue often about the best way to go about things, they are close enough that each would readily and willingly give his life for the other. As businessman, Asura often takes huge risks on a deals he assumes will make his Independent Freelance business ‘Asura N’ Deva’ easy money at the expense his sister/business partner Deva, and their financial stability. He would often do the physical labour jobs while Deva would focus mostly on technical, fixing or maintenance jobs. Despite the wiser counsel of his sister, Asura often repeats his reckless business ventures with varying results. He took whatever jobs he could get, turning a blind eye if he could to the legality of the job, but never doing the wrong thing in terms of morality (he wouldn’t steal something as important like medicine from people who desperately need it). He can be a man of compassion (refusing jobs that would involve him in slavery or cruelty, for instance), with a strong sense of nobility. He was not above joking with his friends or picking bar fights, but he retained his honour in the face of adversity.

While Asura is regarded a thief, he will go to great lengths to right injustice. While he sees nothing wrong with his chosen profession as a freelance outlaw/bounty hunter, he reminds anyone who asks him that the people whom he steals from are people who can take the loss, and that there are worse people than he in this world. He also shows a chivalrous streak that compels him to help those less fortunate than he (especially attractive women). Furthermore, Asura often takes it upon himself and his gang to stop criminals engaged in more violent crimes and leave them for the police to arrest.
When not seeking fortune from his adventures, Asura unwinds by a variety of pastimes. His most-witnessed hobbies are listening to his music Walkman, nightclubbing, gambling, Pai-Sho, and dating beautiful women. He's a lover of trying different international foods and drinks, drinking different types of alcohol, tea, and coffee. Asura is a renowned driver, when he has to drive away in time for a quick getaway.

He is protective of his friends and is fiercely protective for his sister’s safety. Asura retains the idea that you never left someone behind and, once you are a part of his circle of friends, you are assured his protection. He treats an attack on one of his friends/family as being tantamount to being a direct assault on him, which Asura would not stand for it. For those few people who have made an impact on him, Asura shows his deeper nature to be one of marked selflessness, unflinching loyalty, and great compassion. Asura will still drop everything to come to their aid in a helpless moment. As someone who has had to suffer greatly at such a young age, Asura cannot ignore the true suffering of others and becomes sympathetic upon sensing pain and resolve in people's hearts. Though his solemn advice to such people is often tempered with harsh but truthful criticism, it is only because he genuinely wishes to place them on the most direct path forward.

Other Stuff: Often he is sometimes bugged (at first believed being haunted) by his predecessor, Avatar Korra, on general or spiritual advice. He likes to be called Grit-Lord as his personal alias, though Deva comically nicknamed him 'Melon-Lord'.

Asura was inspired by Star-Lord (Guardians of the Galaxy film), Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly), Gene Starwind (Outlaw Star), Vash the Stampede (Trigun), Lupin III, Boba Fett (Star Wars), Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebob) and last and not least, Clint Eastwood old-western characters.
