I really dig these dark warm colors for Tartarus. They really compliment the patterns on his body and give off the impression that he's even more unstable than he is in black and white.ΒRelated content

The colors and textures blend together in a very wild yet unsettling way. I can almost feel the skin on this kaiju steaming and pulsating. Iβve never seen a volcanic kaiju that was quite as organically visceral looking as this. Really dig what youβve done with this!

Thank you so much man! I kinda intended him to be the Thanos of my series, and it makes it more terrifying considering he's the father of the protagonist Briarga. His power can go rampant at any point.

It is marker, mixed in with color pencil (but I ended up using marker over that so the color would stand out more).
And thank you very much! It is one of my favorite designs as he is one of the end-tier antagonists in the story. I wanted to make him seem big and bad.

Of course! I would look into volcanos, make the skin similar to that with the reds being the "lava" rolling through the cracks.
Even googling pictures of Tartarus might help with body ideas
