Description
I only knew her as a punk-loving hyena girl. With the microrobotics that are now in fursuits, you can wear them in public and people will think you're real. I never considered who might be under her grinning snout; in fact, I never considered her human at all. That changed when some drunken girl at the bar poured a drink down her throat before she could activate eating mode. Her whole suit started going nuts; her eyes were open, but she seemed completely blind. I don't blame her for ripping off the mask; a mechanical lock on the zipper is nice in theory, but not in practice.Art by N. Torio (not from DA)

Aftermath: The drunken girl who caused this incident has been arrested by police after the owner of the bar called 911 and told them that there's a drunken incident going on at the bar.
A cute girl that I may be interested at.

Would be nice if there was a story where the guy was dating the girl in the suit and he found out who she really was.

I think an SFX studio could do it now, money is the only barrier. Things like those new Avatar animatronics are really impressive. Add face/eye tracking IR sensors for wearer control. Real problem is making it affordable.

Well, most of the basic things, at least. Not counting the "wear it forever" aspect from the description :3

I was looking around about this option and is is not possible yet.
The electronics you need is too big to fit the head. I also did not find any technology for tracking face muscles which may fit into fursuit head (eye tracking is OK).
Well, I am looking forward it (and bio-based fur instead of plastic).

Mouth tracking alone is probably possible with latex casing the way Movie SFX use for non-human actors. But such thing is hardly easily put on and off, and certainly not something you can wear over such a long period of time. The cost for it doesn't even come into consideration yet.

Mechanical locks on zippers do have their own advantages...

Mechanical locks on zippers... as in blocking the zipper from unwantedly moving up an down?

Err, yeah... its very... inconvenient when they undo themselves on their own...

In a way.. i'd feel worse for the other girl.. she'd be getting a bit of an ass-whoopin for wrecking such a lovely ladysuit...
