It makes me think if how different design was back in the past. I admit that I like clean, modern things, but there's something special about this..think about those cathedrals in Europe--every bit is insanely detailed with fine lattice work etc..I think there's also a temple or something in India (well, according to a '68 national geogr. i paged through!) that has all these thousands of monkeys carved onto it..mindblowing. How does the rest of the church compare?

we've certainly lost our sense of passion when it comes to these things. the door was locked, but the actual church had two red doors that were old and wooden, was white, had very tall points, and had metal crosses on the top of each of the highest sections of the roof.
