Those of you who have followed me for a long time might know me by my birth name, but I'm finished with it, I'm finished with my old life, my name is Elizabeth now.

There is so much uncertainty right now in my life. I'm excited to start a new chapter in it, including a name change. While I'm not LEGALLY changing it until I am successful in my career, I will be introducing myself as Eli/Elizabeth and asking my employers to call me that. Megan was...not me. Not the me I am today and not the me I want to be. She was weak, and she didn't love herself. She lived ONLY for others, and she had no personal self worth. I'm NOT her anymore, I am Eli, and when I move I won't be associated with Megan anymore, she and her past won't follow me into the future. The good things about her life are still mine, still my memories and friends to keep, but I won't let her hold me back.
