Description
These are old pictures. I'm actually working on an improved version, but for now, this is what I've got.

As some of you know, I'm working on a fanfic under the title of Spyro's Legacy; these are the elements that are present therein.

The elements are set out in order of rarity, most common at the top.

Fire
A jet of flame is emitted from the mouth.
Fire Dragons are adventurous and courageous, but they are also kind and loyal to their friends.

Water
Liquid is breathed in a tight, concentrated stream.
Water Dragons tend to be very fluid in both body and mind, they are generally flexible individuals.

Wood
Three projectiles are fired at once, covering the ground in front.
Most Wood Dragons are supportive and playful; their bonds are often strong ones.

Metal
Like Wood, three projectiles are fired, Metal boasts increased range.
Metal Dragons can sometimes be hard-headed and sharp, though they possess nerves of steel.

Earth
A burst of energy explodes forward, breaking rocks if any are present.
The dragons who use Earth are often firm in their beliefs and stick to their ways.

Wind
A strong gust of air blows away whatever is in front.
Wind Dragons are subtle and delicate, taking care in how they do things.

Electricity
A continuous electric current homes in on enemies in the immediate area.
Dragons that possess Electricity tend to be steady and light on their feet, though some are quick to anger.

Cyclone
Cyclone sucks in enemies even from behind and traps them in the tornado.
Cyclone Dragons are often the opposite of their Wind counterparts, being hasty and straight forward in their behaviour.

Lightning
A single bolt fires straight forward, stunning any enemies it hits.
Lightning Dragons are quick and efficient, doing things only when it fits them.

Bubble
A stream of bubbles traps surrounding enemies and items, can be burst on contact.
Bubble Dragon are curious and knowledgeable, their interest in the world around them keeps them busy.

Ice
Cold air is breathed forwards, may freeze enemies.
These dragons tend to be cool and collected, keeping calm in the face of danger.

Heat
A wave of heated air engulfs the surrounding area.
Heat Dragon can be temperamental and rash, they rarely think about others.

Light
A ray of light brightens the area in front, blinding enemies.
Dragons who possess Light are often wise and diplomatic, preferring to observe from afar.

Darkness
Black smoke is spread around the front of the dragon.
Darkness Dragons are confident in their abilities; they also go through a phase of evil when reaching adulthood.

Love
Waves of heart-shaped energy are fired straight ahead.
Dragons that use this element form close bonds and make good friends, usually of the opposite gender.

Ally
A single ball of green energy is projected forwards, can be controlled from afar.
Ally Dragons are keen to make everyone their friend and very rarely turn down an opportunity to meet someone new.

Rage
A single ball of red energy is projected forwards, can be controlled from afar.
Rage Dragon single themselves out from groups, they are loners who don't make friends easily.

Bird
Bird-like forms of energy spread out and fly around the dragon.
Dragons in this group find it hard to keep their feet on the ground, they're flighty and light-hearted.

Rainbow
A beam of multicoloured energy spreads out in front of the user.
These dragons are generally good with children; they start out grey and develop their rainbow colours as they grow older.

Crystal
Five projectiles are fired forwards at once, can be merged into one large projectile with practice.
Crystal Dragons can be good team players, but they can also be vain and arrogant

Star
A stream of purple-pink stars is breathed straight ahead.
Star Dragons see the world for what it is, making decisions after heavy thought rather than immediately.

Time
The only known form of this breath is a distorting wave that continues until stopped.
Time Dragons are a mystery, they seem to know what happens in all of time, but the effects on their personality are unknown.

Atom
A simple string of sparks glides forward, the target glows and is trapped in a whirling ball.
This family of dragons is so rare that it has not yet been fully studied.

Yin-Yang
Appearance unknown. Effects unknown.
The rarest element in the world, only two dragons have ever been known to possess it.
