This girl, well, she embodies innocence and death at the same time...sacrificing the lamb...or maybe its just that I've been reading too much of the bible lately? Mandatory reading for my lit class.
Don't trust her cute face because she has the heart of a killer...

And well, I think Jesus knew he was gonna die, but at the same time, he was also killed. I mean, someone *coughtheromanscough* had to have staked him onto the cross. He didn't just drop dead one day because he wanted to...

dont you think God leads all the incidents and let it happen that he was crucified? it is not the fact, that Jesus as a human someday decided to die for the world as if he was crazy, but he as the eternal WORD of God decided in his free will to take this hard thing.....you can say: as God himself he decided far earlier than time "to be killed"...! because of love and grace!

ok to your first comment. To your second comment...considering the fact that I don't believe in a all knowing christian god, no, i DON'T in fact think God leads all incidents.
The way I see it, Jesus was human, like anyone, made of flesh, and blood. But his influence on the course of history cannot be denied. I don't believe it was the divine that caused him to die, but the circumstances surrounding him...his unfortunate beliefs at the time...
It was only 50-100 years AFTER his death, that the gospels began attributing divinity to him....and the gospels can't even agree on this part. Some say that he is the son of god, some say he is a god in his own write...non-the-less... Before that, we have no real evidence as to what Jesus said about himself.

hehe, then, why should the pharisees be so angry and say that he said himself to be God? I have read that the word "son" shall mean "part of".....so it means Jesus said himself to be a part of God.
I also don't understand everything what is said in the Bible, and on the first glance it may look like it's not logical or controversial, but: the Bible as a report is not written to let us criticoze it, but to criticize us, in the meaning: when we don't understand it, we are the problem and not the Bible because we are the ones who don't understand....it's worth to see things from this point of view maybe^^
And it's not the matter what you beliebe or what i believe, religion is not the matter, but the reality and truth is crucial. and the reality is God.
Of course Jesus was a flesh human, but in the same moment he was God. The proof is that he claimed to arise from the death after the crucification. see: more than 100 persons have seen him after his death at the same moment. and most of them still lived when the apostles wrote the gospels. and: why should Jesus have stayed for 40 days at his disciples ???? they also didn't believe it first, and he needed to proove it to them^^.
And: his divinity was even predicted by the prophets (read iesaja chapter 53..!!).....all the hints were fullfilled striking precisely....and: there were found some Dead Sea scrolls, because of which there can be absolutely said: they were not added to the bible after Jesus' death and resurrection. and this is really striking i think.
it's really worth to read christian books because i think you cannot really judge the statements in the Bible only with my own opinion. maybe you will find something here: [link]
Of course your thoughts are traceable, but you also need to look at the other side of arguments (for i cannot display all of them and in the perfect way to you^^).
maybe you are annoyed now XD but i really fully believe in Jesus and who he was and what he did. I am really no apostle (i would be a miserable apostle), but the Bible REALLY tells the truth!! i also didn't believe it
