Description
I fell asleep watching The Lost World last night, and this morning my brain filtered it into a wrench design for the Engineer in Team Fortress 2. I was thinking of calling it "Tyrannosaurus Wrench" or "Monkey Rex/Pipe Rex" until the name I came up with popped into my head. Do you like how the thumb guard on the brass-knuckle portion makes a little arm?As stated in the image, it has a 50% faster Sentry build with a 50% slower Dispenser build. No random crits, but guaranteed crits when the Dispenser is Level 3. The logic here is that it hunts better when it is well-fed.
I'd love to get some tips from someone like *ChemicalAlia who has made items for the TF2 shop about how best to submit it for consideration of inclusion in the game. Do you choose its stats, or do they? Do you suppose I'd still get money if they chose to make it an incentive item for purchasing, for instance, Dino D-Day?
Expect more weapon designs from me in the future; I've got a head swimming with them.

Have the entire team become Engineers.
The half with Jurassic Torques go hunting, the half without hold the fort down.

While it sounds imbalanced, you're still looking at a team relying on the crits of a melee weapon that isn't that strong, and being completely susceptible to ranged attacks.

True.
Unless it's a rocket or grenade, which can be dodged with a certain amount of skill.
Or stickies, which can be disarmed with a bullet.
Flares(particularly Detonator ones) and Hunstman/Crossbow arrows/bolts would be very tricky, but doable.
In short, you'd have to rely on stealth tactics and guerrilla warfare.

Thanks! It is the perfect little capper on the design, if you ask me.

You don't normally choose stats, but if Valve thinks they're balanced enough, they may get accepted. Also you would get the money if it was a promo item or not.
