Well, shes not totally snobby, and the conversation started out great...until I told her what I was planning to happen later on in my fanfic

Apparently if I put Syl together with Martin (Martin being an ex-Sanguine worsiper turned priest and is the last (bastard) heir to the throne) even for a little bit it turns her into a Mary Sue and according to my friend she cant see Martin loving anyone anyway

I think her point is the fact that Martin is such a good character (like I said, he was a priest) and Syl is...not so good (thief, murderer, druggy, cannible, heavy drinker, adrenilen junky, compulsive lier ect.) that it wouldnt be believable and thus it wouldnt work. BUT the way I plan on doing it would make a huge difference into how the mechanics of their relationship would come together...plus I need their relationship to work so I can use it as a plot devise
