thanks for the comment. your work ispretty good too. all you really need to work on is blending the values a little more and VIOLA! you'll be surprised with how it comes out. everytime i finish a piece i always amaze myself. just push yourself father than you usually would go when your drawing. you'll love the outcome! take care and thank you once again! ^_^

This is absolutely amazing, and what I'd like my art to look like! The detail is fantastic, as are all the little highlights in the dark such as the tassle of his hat and in his eye. Can I ask what sort of scanner you used to scan this? I'm having problems with mine and need a new one. Did you edit it at all or is this how it scanned in?

My goodness, I'm in the process of drawing him for my school art class. The angle of the jaw and face is just.. Ahh, you did it beautifully. I love the contrast.
