I think this is bound to happen. After all, series progresses through history and has reached the end of the Renaissance by now.
My predictions:
ACV - Victorian era London
ACVI - World War I France and Germany
ACVII - World War II Japan
And the final part takes place in the hi-tech future we keep getting glimpses at.
