Rather liking the upper torso of the mech - squish it down so you cut out the gangly bit in the middle, and you'd probably have a decently workable design. Wouldn't function as well for the joke, though, and I think the joke's worth having a design that could get cut in half by enemy fire within twenty seconds.

...And if it has viable single-player content you own my soul. I miss good (never great, unfortunately) mecha titles of yester-year. Starsiege stands out in my mind, maybe because it had such a campy and predictable story. Still a fav, though.

Might be Front Mission:Evolved, it was a turn based game before but now its similar to the Armored Core series. It's close to the same caliber but I think the story is far more immersive.
They should have hired here to do the mecha designs though, this stuff is EPIC!

And it's not FM:E, I bought that one. The new one I'm talking about, it's like a first-person shooter mech game, where you are in the pilots seat.

Well from what I remember from the video, it looked pretty cool. Visually complicated, with all the machine-style backdrop, but epic robot cockpit-battles
