I made an armor design with similar EMR-Armor except that most of it is located in the head in the shape of a crown.
I'll probably upload it later. Warning: Overly dynamic design due to it originating from 41st Century Extra-Terrestrial technology.

Very impressive armor specs OAO. If I may ask, how much voltage have to be maintain in a long sufficiency use and what material to contain the much power >W<

I like the armor concept. Thought the lower legs were a little incongruous. Little too anime. Overall, great idea, and like the hexes. What made you think of that?

I'd like to see him stop a bullet that's coming directly to his eye from a sniper xD

Love you're idea of the shield in the hexagon tiles. Right ammo for the gun. woder if it is sold to anybody who has the money? If so then I can see mercenaries, Pardon Me, Private Military Contractors wearing it on ops. Also SWAT.

The ballistic test was a nice touch. "It's armored in... all the right places." ;]

It could be chambered for a 7.62 Tokarev round.

Interesting design, but i wonder if the EM field is somehow interfering with the comms and stuff like electronics around him..

Depending on used frequencies, it might, but the field is only active when fired at, so it should never be a grave problem, i guess.
And the suit looks great, want one too!

IΒ΄m just thinking "If i would build such a thing, what would i do to...". Helps both with tech from SciFi and Magic from Fantasy stuff.

Black guard? it is some kind of future soviet marines?

ArtisanGareth [2012-12-13 05:34:41 +0000 UTC]
Very nice pic. All I can think though is that it you would be a sitting duck in that suit. Not a ton of manueverability in that.

What if the enemy is using smart rounds and they mimic the EMR's sensitivity field?
Nice work!
