Wow, I like the bulkiness of this design, looks like the mech is really sporting an heavy armor. Love the reactive armor blocks on the lower torso and the tank-like turret with machinegun.

ah, probably some sort of ceramic or titanium compound. It'd have to be pretty light so the machine could still walk properly and quickly enough.
