Description
Well I've finished Zanatorian Machine Cult HQ that will represent a Necron Lord on the tabletop. I had hoped to give it a head similar to Proiteus, but I’m rubbish at human flesh so perhaps at a later date I’ll change the head and paint the cloak a brighter color. Here's the 2nd Liberator with the destroyer body, just in case this one doesn't prove necronish enough: [link]
'Zanatorian Knights are far too rare and important to risk death on the battlefield, but neither will they cower behind their base's defense shield. To resolve this problem the Zanatorian High Counsel created ‘Liberators’ remote puppets that took on the form of the Zanatorian Knight. During battles and scenarios that had a high possibility of danger to his live, the Zanatorian would take control of the Liberator via a nerval link allowing them to move the puppet as they would their own body however this link is difficult to maintain and can only be held for a limited period of time.
The Inquisition has had contact with these machines as they once successfully captured what they believed to be the 6th Zanatorian Knight Zethos during an ambush on his meeting with the rebels of Phobo IV, but when they returned to their fortress they found out it was a remote machine just moments before it detonated leveling the Inquisitor’s base of operation and crippling their hold on that sector of space.’

To be honest i did consider using them for warriors or immortals but I prefer the detail of the components i'm using at the moment however i might get some case someone does like my Dragoons representing warriors.

Just a suggestion. And by the way your signature still says "VIVA LA GROT". The machine god I'm sure wouldn't be too happy to hear this. I should also get some pictures of my own machine god weresipping Iron Warriors up here. Yes that's right they don't worship Chaos, in fact they say "#@$% you Chaos!".

I don't think it that great actually compared to the level of detail and quality i'm aiming for, I likely redo him at a later date.

You'd most definitely get an award if you took him to a GW convention!
