I only animated this because i liked so much those big ol' purple eyes lol
And that's the age old question haha!
Since shes part of a story i will be making, i don't want to spoil too much about her (hence why i don't draw her that much). But i can say that: other than a backstory tool, the mask also helps the viewer to project itself into the character by making it simpler. "The less the better!", for it's more about what could be behind the mask than who is ^^
That's why i gave her the mask...but not why she uses it. This shall remain a secret for now c:
