Yep, guess who's first college project is a board game about egyptian mythology?! 
Those are quick, flat-colored, character designs of Osiris and Seth for an upcoming prototype of our game (hopefully) and i am really, really happy with the final result! Decided to post it here to get some feedback before we start working on the final version...so, thoughs? c:

Esses aqui são designs, rapidos e "flat-colors", dos personagem Osiris e Seth para um protótipo futuro do nosso jogo (eu espero) e eu tó muito, muito feliz com o resultado final! Decidi postar assim do jeito que tá pra colher um feedback antes da versão final...então, algum voluntario? c:

It's actually more needlessly convoluted than complex xD
New Pharaos would sometimes tweak "just a tiny bit" the pantheon to their beliefs when they got to power...like this one guy that ought to remove all the gods from the pantheon except from the main god himself

I'm not exactly high-level on giving art feedback, but I'll try to give the most helpful feedback as I can.
To describe the work, it seems to be on point in terms of anatomy, but somewhat a little messy with it, I'm not exactly familiar with your art style, so I'm not sure if this is intentional or not. In terms of the style, the relationship between the lines with the anatomy seems a little strained. However, I am interested in your skills, but I wish for the work to be a little more "fluid" as possible. This is the best way I can try to give feedback. I'm not the best at wording it.

If you allow it, may I share some thoughts about the drawing?
Now, I'm not saying I'm familiar with your style, because I'm not at all, but at first glance, it seems to be a bit... fractured, so to speak. You clearly know a LOT about anatomy (possibly far FAAARRR more than me), yet the end result falls apart, seemingly. It's almost violently different than the "normal look" of a human body. Was it your intentions? If yes, congratulations, you hit bulls-eye! If no, perhaps you should consider trying to make them more fluent and connected to each other. That's some lame-ass shitty way to put it, way to go, girl... Anyway, I hope you understand.

And i got it! You actually explained it very well xD
The fractured and exaggerated body is something i do strive with my style (which is more or less inspired in the character design of the Darksiders series) but i too think i went a bit overboard with the anatomy this time lol. Same thing goes for the line art, which i think could use a little cleaning up as well — specially on Seth, like the heck is up with that right arm?! I don't think i know a whole lot about anatomy tho xD, Seth does look kinda weird and i think the legs are to blame. I will make sure to take notes on that when working on the final art for the game!
As for character design, one of the teachers suggested approaching the gods — As of now: Thot*; Osiris; Seth; Isis; Anubis and Horus — with the influence of native african's cultural and physical traits (hence Osiri's hair/face) and i really liked the result so far! For Seth, i stuck a bit more with the feral look, for i though the fur would look more chaotic for he is the god of sandstorms and chaos...i dunno ;-;
