I'm in the process (a very long process...blah) of changing my childhood room into an adult room/guest bedroom, and so far I've gotten not very far...Today, however, I did manage to clean up and clear out a bunch of clothes and standee's that have been crowding a large part of the floor space in my room, yay! And I put up a temporary bed-skirt, it's just fabric I stuffed under the mattress, I'll make it into a proper bed skirt when I have time and room to sew in a few weeks... Also on the list of things to do is take down the make-shift wallpaper that is star wars posters that's currently along all the walls... So I spent a lot of my day standing like this at my doorway, trying to plot out the best plan of attack, eventually kinda deciding to do nothing since there is nowhere for me to put anything once I move it... But I'll figure it all out soon I hope, so I can have a room that's good for taking more than just myspace photos in...
Oh and if you're interested in buying Star Wars stuffs, please note or email me!! (But you can't have the 'size matters not' poster, that one's going over my headboard...
ok, maybe not over my bed, but I'm keeping it...)

Good luck with that! I'm undergoing the very same process, transitioning everything in my old bedroom to my new bedroom and trying to figure out what to keep in here (old bedroom)poster-wise and where to hang it.
Wish I could help you with the Star Wars stuff, have far too much already, but will have a look at what you have. Looks like you've got some nice stuff there. Saw the "Size matters not" poster at MCCC last month, and I do agree with you keeping it.

yeah it's quite an undertaking to clean everything up and get rid of stuff... but that's just how it goes, can't keep everything...

I am so lazy that I sleep rolled in a duvet to avoid bed skirts/three layers of sheets which are a hated part of my childhood.

hehe when I was a kid I wanted all my sheets and blankets tucked in at every side all around me and just my head sticking out... now I can't stand the sheets tucked in at all except at the foot of the bed, and I hate heavy blankets

That was like me. I had some irrational belief and felt totally exposed when the bottom sheet wasn't tucked in.

hehe yeah, I think that poster is so fun, even without the tongue and cheek bedroom humor, it's just got great colors and tones... And yeah, I have big plans for the room, once I get things organized and cleared out
