I want to take advantage of my little studio I've set up in my foyer before I have to move out, and today I was feeling very flexible
I discovered last night after having on a long wig all night that I'm very proud of my natural long hair, so I kinda wanted to show that off too 
I'm not a dancer or anything so I don't like how my hands and feet are placed but that's ok.I'm still learning that photoshop thing, so I decided to replace the background with a solid black color... of course that just looked really unnatural given the lighting I had so I used a more yellowed out black instead. I'm still learning hehe

I think this is a great shot.
The hair is glorious.
You could do a couple weeks just with hair.
(Note to women everywhere; Men love long hair...)
But visible skin gives this a keen interest, and it is sensual and enticing to the eye.

This is a really great and rather unique pose. I agree with about the background but I also think a darker background helps focus the eye on the figure. Nice work.

It's a really great pose. I can't say I've seen anything similar. I hope it gets a little more attention on DA - it certainly deserves it. I also want to commend you on your project. Your images take on another level of meaning because of it.

In reference to the comment you made on my photograph I realize that one of the things I like so much about this photograph is that you essentially use the long hair as clothing. The focus is on the hair and the body is used to frame this. By not having clothes on the figure, though, you create a simplicity that adds depth to the image. The skin tones are amazing and I still can't get over the pose. I may have to steal it

Maybe I will. But self-portraits are not easy for me to do. I don't find myself to be terribly interesting. Or the better way to say it may be that I just find so many other things much more interesting.

hehe yeah I usually just wash it at night and sleep on it! I used to blow dry it and it took upwards of 30 minutes
