For some reason tonight, after feeling totally fat and self-conscious all day, after my shower I had a strange boost of self esteem and wanted to show off some curves
So kinda taking an idea from to take shots of body parts (and I swear, I will get around to doing that ) I decided tonight that my body would be the focus of the shot, with my face either out of frame or obscured. I'm not overly happy with the background, I played with layers and curves a bit to try to eliminate the issues my backdrop was having with being wrinkled, but that only worked to some extent, and I didn't feel like spending a lot of time fixing the image just to take out a few creases of fabric Tomorrow I may edit a few more I took tonight, I had a couple that I wound up liking, but they needed more editing and a creative hand, which I really don't have tonight (that whole excercising after working too much thing from yesterday caught up with me like I knew it would lol!)

This is quite lovely. The composition makes great use of negative space and the lines and curves are wonderful. One way to deal with the creases is to create a new copy layer, use the Gaussian blur, then add a mask to the layer and use the brush tool to erase the parts you don't want blurred.

I think it looks great to me. I don't see creases from my computer view. Keep it up. This one makes it looks like your kinda floating. Nice curves! You should never me ashamed of you!

Your welcome! Well just for the record and your self esteem I think your very pretty Angela and I think your body looks great. I've been critical and felt insecure about my body sometimes to but I'm not a girl so I'm probably not with you on that one lol.

I don't notice any wrinkles anywhere in the backdrop. Black was a good choice for this.

I love my black backdrop, the fabric I've got just absorbs all the light and really gives a good tone.
