How do you download these? sorry if this is a stupid question.

Whenever I download fake eye lashes and go to apply them, they look all fake and blotchy. I had installed it on my old computer once and they looked real. Do I have some option chosen that I'm not aware of? I just can't get them to look real? They seem to be colored. Any help would be great.
