Getting better at drawing humans, ever so slowly. Basically putting my main Sonic OC, Arno, into Azur Lane, along with his ship, the prototype battlecruiser Branwen. So here's human Arno I guess, lol. I do find it funny that this comes from an absurd Sonic fanfiction that I haven't properly written yet, lol. And yes, their outfits are meant to be similar. Technically AL Arno is his future version, where he lost his eye after a chunk of metal sliced his face open. Why? Guns on Branwen got obliterated, torpedoes were all gone, no ammo, just the engines and hull... So he rammed his opponent, a chunk of the bridge's frame flying into his face. Although he took it pretty well, just seeing it as something he can't help. In my story, he becomes a teacher at a naval academy before Mobius gets invaded by an overwhelming force and Avalon (Arno's homeworld that is literally an alternate version of Mobius/Earth) basically does a counter invasion to protect Mobius, lol. The jacket is meant to be him opening up as a person, his introverted side going away. So it's bright blue and silver. Meanwhile Branwen is more reclusive, being like his old self. What better way to show that than with an old bomber jacket-esque jacket? She also acts like a cat, lol. Grumpy, tired 24/7, and WILL get her love from Arno.

Also in this AU, Sonic's been dead for a couple centuries. Part 2 shows how Mobius hasn't really changed, despite Sonic and Eggman's demise. Too little, too late type of situation. Yeah, there's not a genocidal maniac on Mobius, but there's also not a lot of people left. It's almost like exploring an abandoned theme park that some people has set up a camp near. The old world exists, but is faded, with the remnants settling in what's left. The original concept of this AU was basically "what if killing Eggman meant nothing, and Sonic & co were forgotten? How would the world change centuries later?" before turning into the LSD trip it is right now, lol.

Also fun fact: both are canonically Southern.
