Still have to make the logo, but the actual art is mostly done. Really happy with how this turned out! For those who don't know, Moebius Loop is a passion project of mine that started as a what if scenario, in which Sonic and his friends had finally put an end to Eggman, but it was too late. Most Mobians were gone, and they were all forgotten over the years. Over time, this evolved into having its own planet, reminiscent of the Sol Dimension. This world is called Avalon, and is meant to be earth, some time after humanity wiped themselves out. Mobians appeared on the planet and founded their own countries, some named after their human versions, because some parts of Earth weren't burned. For a brief story summary...

200 years ago, Sonic and his friends defeated Eggman in a phyrric victory. Mobius is now a wasteland of scattered settlements, the Sol Dimension is ruled by a cruel emperor who wants nothing but to be remembered for ANYTHING, and a planet called Avalon has joined in the picture, having discovered interdimensional travel. On Avalon is a wolf named Arno. His father was a famous general who was assassinated when he was 11, his mother mysteriously disappearing shortly after. Raised by his admiral uncle, he would join the navy of the Versailles Federation. Avalon has been deadlocked in a centuries long cold war, and it's about to go hot as new weapons of war are laid down and invasion plans are set....

Now, for the tone. Moebius Loop is going to be mature. Not as in "here's a character getting their intestines eaten in excruciating detail and 9 billion swears a sentence", but rather the topics it explores. Mobian are people too, and stuff like the horrors of war are a genuine thing they cope with in this universe. They don't have a blue Hedgehog that can stop any threat through the power of friendship (and asspulls. Looking at you, IDW.) Arno doesn't get any powers until part 2. And even then, there's drawbacks to them and he nearly dies several times. No clanging rocks together and becoming a demigod here. And that's what I find interesting, and want to explore. Just soldiers doing their job, no superhero shenanigans. Actual tactics being used, etc. I'm also using this as a way to teach some interesting history, as I love learning about history and want to shed light on parts that I feel are unexplored. Many of the ships are based off of real ones, as are some of the battles. Some parts of the story may reflect our history. And that ties into the name. A Möbius loop is a mathematical equation that can only be man made. A man made loop, and an emphasis on history repeating... Anyways, I'll try and post more concept art when I can. Love how this went from spiteful to instead being an "I want to write something I'd enjoy, not something that only exists as a middle finger." Situation. Why? Makes me feel better because it's a lot more positive.
