I feel like Ruby is a pretty underrated character, I don’t often see fanart of her. Here she is colliering, about to go for an ember. I thought she was a Long-Eared Owl while drawing the base sketch, but when I was almost done suddenly remembered that she was a Short-Eared Owl. Thankfully the two are very similar, so I just had to fix up the head.Currently drawing out some of the more underrepresented Guardians of Ga’Hoole characters, I’m open to suggestions.
